WALKER TAKES SECOND OVERALL IN EMX CHAMPIONSHP

Harry Walker put in a brilliant performance at the opening round of the 2024 EMX Quad European Championship at Alqueidão, Portugal.


He finished third in the first moto behind Italian Patrick Turrini and then stormed to a hard-fought win in the second race. He secured second overall in the championship in the process.

He said; “I battled hard with Patrick through qualifying and both races. So happy with my result and huge thanks to my support team.

“The track was great, fast, with big jumps. The facility was absolutely amazing.”

1. Patrick Turrini, 2. Joao Vale, 3. Harry Walker, 4. Manfred Zienecker, 5. Julian Veldman, 6. Karlis Neija, 7. Joakim Granli, 8. Mark McLernon, 9. Murray Graham, 10. Louis Pinchon.

Race 2:
1. Harry Walker, 2. Patrick Turrini, 3. Joao Vale, 4. Karlis Neija, 5. Joakim Granli, 6. Mark McLernon, 7. Julian Veldman, 8. Karlis Lizanders, 9. Oli Sansom, 10. Manfred Zienecker.

Overall: 1. Patrick Turrini 47, 2. Harry Walker 45, 3. Joao Vale 42, 4. Karlis Neija 33, 5. Joakim Granli 30, 6. Julian Veldman 30, 7. Manfred Zienecker 29, 8. Mark McLernon 28, 9. Oli Sansom 19, 10. Simao Almeida 19.

The next round of the EMX Quad Championship is over the weekend of the 11th and 12th of May at Heerde, Netherlands.
