Nora Motorsport (NORA92), a leading UK national governing and permitting body, for a range of off-road disciplines, made the move in January 2026 to ban the use of tear-offs at all its sanctioned events.

The regulation, which aims to enhance environmental responsibility and promote cleaner racing, reflects a growing movement to reduce plastic waste on race tracks and in surrounding areas.
