Segway Powersports UK has partnered with GSR Racing to run a GSR Segway Factory Racing team with the All Wheel Drive Club (AWDC), one of the biggest in the UK for all-terrain UTV racing.
Guy Smith of GSR has been specialising in building and adapting UTVs for racing since 2017. His daughter, 21-year-old Hemmy Smith, is racing a Super Villain in 2026.
The team recently contested the Comp Safari, at the super-challenging Bovington training area in Dorset, where they finished first in class, fifth overall and posted the third quickest single lap. Hemmy says the Segway Super Villain is the best UTV she has driven, while Guy added; “It’s a proper package, easy to drive, more torque than its competition, and the suspension is great straight out of the box. We’ve building roll cages for the Super Villain to Motor Sport UK (MSUK) specification and are excited about growing our association with Segway Powersports.”
Segway’s Super Villain is set to be a popular racing machine. In standard trim, the fully road-legal Segway Super Villain, with its 2.0T GDi parallel-twin cylinder engine, produces 235hp/380 Nm torque, and go from 0 to +60mph in just five seconds.
