Oli Sansom made the trip to northern France worthwhile today when he convincingly won the quad class of the Loon Plage Beach Race.

Sansom, who has become something of a sand specialist in recent years, qualified in second place behind former British QX Champion Paul Holmes. Sansom then went on to post the fastest lap time in all three motos to take the overall win ahead of Holmes and a field of hard-charging Europeans.

The West Midlander won the first and third race and finished second in race two. Holmes went second, first and second.
