LOWRY & TEAM WIN AT PDV

August 25th, 2025.

The UK’s Nicole Lowry, together with Italian teammates Elena Alercia and Beatrice Grola, clinched first place in the female category of the Pont de Vaux 12h Mondial race over the weekend. They finished 40th overall out of 107 teams.

Twenty-five-year-old Nicole (originally from Northern Ireland) finished third in the 2024 edition of PDV. Believing she would be a good fit for their team, she was approached by 28-year-old Elena to join with her and 30-year-old Beatrice for 2025.

Riding a Yamaha YFX450R, built by Diego Vottero, the female trio attacked the 2025 PDV with gusto and completed 159 laps of the French circuit.

Said Nicole; “This was my second year at the 12h event. I kind of knew what to expect and what I needed to do … stay consistent by doing long racing stints but also putting good lap times in when needed. I really enjoyed the race, the team, the whole atmosphere and hopefully I’ll be back and able to give it a go again next year.

“After finishing in third place last year, it was an unreal feeling to be on the world stage and on the top step of the podium this time. Thanks to my team, family and our massive support network!”
