March 30th, 2024.

The first round of the 2024 Dragon Quad Racing British XC Championship kickstarted the quad racing season with a healthy turnout of riders and spectators.

Held at Coney Green, Stourport – a DQR fave – on Sunday the 24th of March, the sunny conditions helped to provide an ever-evolving and drying track, enabling riders across all classes to put on a show of competitive cross-country quad racing.

Expert Plus rider Jamie Morgan kicked off the season in style with a strong win, closely followed by Zac Orchard with Paul McConway rounding out the top three.

James Maybury topped the Expert class, while Mark Adams and Steven Horton won their respective Clubman and Sportman groups.

David Thomas, 4x4 Clubman

In the 4x4 scene, Latham Pritchard was the Expert winner, Jack Powell won the Clubman and Simon Lang was out front in the Lights.

Over on the Youth front, Jay Sams, Luke Waddington, and Malachy Mckenna took the top three positions, with Tyler Willcock, Alfie Chew, and Edward Jones making up the Mini podium.
