Welshman Dafydd Davies decided to contest the full NETT Championship for 2024 and commit to the considerable travelling involved – the closest round was a mere 6.5 hours away from his home in Wales. Heading into the last weekend of the series, Davies was second behind Chad Beevers and three points adrift. “I knew I’d have to be on my A-game as Chad’s such a good and strong rider. I had some problems with my machine in practice but, with some help from friends and my dad (EDR), we managed to get the quad repaired just in time for the first race. I went on to win six races from six starts to clinch the championship!”
“It was such a great season with the NETT Club and an awesome feeling to have won the main championship title in my first fully committed season.
“I’d like to thank all my sponsors and supporters for their help all season and a big thank you to the NETT Quad & Sidecarcross Championship for running such a great and enjoyable championship."
