Ed and Catrin Davies continued their history-making winning ways with Nora-MX this year, becoming the only father and daughter pairing to again win the official ACU British Quad championship titles for their respective classes.

As previously reported, the proposed seven-round series was cut short, thanks to horrendous weather conditions. However, even with riders dropping their worst two races, after a competitive and hard-fought six-round series, Ed and Catrin had done enough and were untouchable in the British Masters and British Ladies Champoinships.

Ed dominated the British Masters in superb style taking 16 wins from 16 starts adding an eighth title to his impressive tally. Daughter Catrin – the 2019 Nora-MX Rider of the Year - had an outstanding 2020, winning the British Ladies title with 14 race victories from 16 starts and a 61-point lead. She also finished a strong second in the Nora-MX Inters MX Academy Championship.

Davies senior said; “As a father, I’m proud of all my kids from what they have achieved through their years of racing. We as a family have had many accomplishments over the years on the KTM quads and, considering they are 10 years old, they are still competitive machines, as the results prove! We cannot wait to see what the 2021 season will bring to the Davies family.”

Catrin added; ‘It’s such a pleasure being an inspiration to all the young ladies coming up the ranks. I was once a little girl looking up at the Pro riders and thinking I could never be a British Ladies Champion, yet here I am for the second year running. I would like to say a big thank you to EDR Racing, Maxxis, Moose Racing, LBS Builders Merchants, 9teen graphics, Fox racing shocks and Red Bull UK for their support.”

Great work Team Davies, we at Quad-Online congratulate you and all the Nora-MX 2020 competitors.
