ALL CHANGE AT NORA-MX

November 5th, 2019.

Nora-MX has a new owner for 2020 in the form of Richard Shaw and family. The Shaw family are no strangers to quad racing, as Richard and sons Miles and Lewis have all enjoyed their share of competitive fun, while grandson Luca has been flying the Shaw family flag out on the Nora-MX track in the 100cc Auto class.

Handing over the reins of the club to the new regime, Stuart Walker, who alongside his family and team has successfully run the club’s events and activities for the past four years, said; “Nora-MX has always been a club driven by passion and that will continue with Richard at the helm with his own family and supporters.

"They will continue a terrific legacy and I’m sure that all club members will be supportive of them in their transition.”

The new Nora-MX administration has ambitious plans for 2020 with 12 dates on the calendar, four of which will be two-day double-headers and a ‘dropped round’ scoring system will be adopted. All groups will remain the same and British Championship status will still apply.

Proposed (provisional) dates are;
Round 1: March 15th - West Meon
Rounds 2 & 3: 11th/12th April (Easter) – Cusses Gorse
Rounds 4 & 5: May 9th/10th (Bank Holiday Friday) - Grittenham
Round 6: June 21st - Culham
Rounds 7 & 8: July 4th/5th – Landrake
Round 9: July 19th – Milton Park
Rounds 10 & 11: September 12th/13th – Pontrilias
Round 12: October 4th – West Meon

Walker and crew will assist in the early-season handover period, but queries about all things Nora-MX should be directed to Richard on his club mobile 07887 737888.
