CROMWELL TRUCKS SIGN CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE SPONSORSHIP DEAL

March 2nd, 2017.

Cromwell Trucks, the long-term sponsor of the sport in many areas and disciplines, has signed up to become the title sponsor of the 2017 ACU British QX Championship.

Entries have now officially closed for this year's series, but with round one now less than a month away at Desert Martin on the 1st of April, Wildcard entries will be accepted where room permits at each round.

The 33 confirmed entries for the series includes 13 Rookies and 13 Under 21 riders.

There is a total purse available for the series of £6500, with money for 1st to 6th place in each race of the main championship, 1st to 6th place in each race for the Wilcox Under 21s and 1st to 3rd place in the Zip Sponsored Rookie class. There is also £25 per race for the Angry GFX Holeshot Award. Series prize money will be paid on the day for 2017 and Wildcards will be eligible for prizemoney.

This means that an Under 21 Rookie who holeshots all three races and wins them all can take home £395 at each round. Hey - It could happen! Doing the maths again, a seasoned Pro with three holeshots and three wins will collect £225 for the day out.
