THAT'S THE WAY TO DO IT!

November 21st, 2018.

While some took to social media to complain about the lack of coverage of the quad classes at recent  beach races, Davino Bruneel, who came over from Belgium to ride at Skegness and finished in a solid second place, showed how to do it off-track as well, by sending in a few lines in very reasonable English.

Davino wrote: "After making the long journey over from Belgium we were excited for our first beach race in the UK!

I got off to a good start behind Harry Walker and Oli Sansom. After a few laps I ran into some issues with lappers and lost a few minutes with getting stuck and having a puncture. Other then this I had a very good race and I enjoyed every second of it.

In the end I took second place and I am happy with that.

We will definitely be back for more UK beach races in the future.

I am now focussing on the rest of the CFS French Sand Championship which continues on December the 1st in the woods of Saint-Leger and ends at the biggest sand race in the world; Le Touquet on Saturday, February the 2nd, 2019."
