Jon Robson took his GML ATV CanAm Renegade to a hard-fought win in the Expert 4WD class at Driffield last weekend. Robson overcame early race leader and sponsor Graham Guy and went on to win the event by a slender one minute and twenty-five seconds margin. Clubman 4WD honours went to Nick Key, who took the win from the hard-charging Gerard Selby. Local businessman Shaun Wealleans rounded out the podium with a strong third place.
The Clubman 2WD class has grown this season and Shaun Murphy took the class win on eight laps. RAW Enduro regular Kevin Mortimer was runner-up, and another RAW regular, Paul Robinson, fought hard for the third-place finish.
The Expert 2WD class was won by Harry Irvine after John Naylor missed the start by a couple of minutes. Matt Alberti Grabbed third-place on the day.
GML ATV has supported the 2018 Championship and RAW is hoping to get one more race in before the end of the 2018 season to complete a six-round championship where all rounds count. This is dependent on a suitable date and venue.
