NORA AWARDS NIGHT

February 22nd 2019.

The 2018 NORA-MX Awards Presentation night took place last weekend and was once again a fun-packed evening for all. 190 guests enjoyed an evening which saw all the Class Champions crowned, as well as the four British Champions, who were recognised in front of the enthusiastic quad fraternity.

Entertainment included a magician, photo booth and a professional photographer, before the guests danced the night away until gone 1.00am, with NORA's own DJ Stumpy providing a memorable night for all.

Special guest Karl Robinson, the NETT and QX of Nations manager, saw his Nations fund started withTeam Race shirts being auctioned to kickstart the 2019 fund to the tune of £500.00. Funds were also raised for the Air Ambulance Service.

British Champions where crowned, including Jack Young from Ireland in the 250 cc class, Jago Jackson in the 100cc class, Ed Davies in the Masters and Zak Orchard in the Clubman.

Rider of the Year went to Frank Marsdon who finished 3rd in the 100cc class on an Auto and not a geared machine. A remarkable achievement.

The 2019 season will follow the same format as 2018, with seven rounds all counting and the introduction of a new, separately scored, class within the novice group for an official ACU British ladies champion for 2019.
