ENTRIES OPEN FOR ROCK OIL MICHELIN ECOSSE WINTER MX

October 25th, 2019.

The Rock Oil Michelin Ecosse XC Winter MX Series, supported by Wulfsport, returns to the south-east coast of Scotland at Dunbar this November, and will continue through to February 2020.

The first two events on the 10th of November and 8th of December 2019 will form the final two rounds of Quad Racing Scotland’s Adult championship. Registered riders in the QRS Championship, Adult Support and Over Forty classes will race together, but points will be allocated according to the class in which riders are currently registered. In addition, all riders will score points towards the four-round Ecosse Winter Quad Series, with the final two rounds taking place on the 12th of January and 9th of February 2020.

Murray Graham currently lead the QRS Champs class from Michael Brewis and Gary Atkinson. The Adult Support Class leader is James Nisbet, with Peter McGregor lying second and JJ Readman third. Richie Cornett leads the Over Forties ahead of the dedicated and far-travelled southerners “Uncle” Albert McPherson and Trevor Humphris.

The Dunbar circuit is located close to the sea and has plenty of parking. The deep sand track allows for great racing, whatever the weather, and will again benefit from the input of experienced track builders who understand the need to incorporate different lines and passing places around the 2000m-long track.

Entries are now open via www.goracemx.com

Entry fees are £45, which includes the provision of marshals. MCF day licences are available.

Anyone experiencing difficulties with entering should call Ann Wood on 07831 442344 for assistance.
