ECOSSE QUADS TAME TYNINGHAME

January 16th, 2019.

The second round of the Rock Oil/Michelin/Wulfsport Ecosse XC Winter Championship returns to what proved to be a popular sandy track at Tyninghame Links this Sunday, the 20th of January.

The first round welcomed a good turn out of quads and featured two former Scottish champs in the form of Michael Brewis and Paul Davie – but there’s always room for more.

Signing-on is from 2.00pm on Saturday and then again between 7.00am and 8.30am on Sunday.

There’ll be two early morning practice laps, followed by three races of 12-minutes plus one-lap each.

The event is open to MCF 2019 Licence holders. The entry fee, which includes the provision of a marshal, is £45 for adults and MCF day licences are available at £10.

Championship standings after round one; 1. Michael Brewis, 132 points, 2. Lorne Sinclair, 129, 3. Ayrton Knowles, 118, 4. David Vass, 110, 5. Mark Wilson, 107, 6. Robbie Wood, 103, 7. George Oliver, 98, 8. Hugh Beattie, 97, 9. Paul Davie, 96, 10. Richie Cornet, 95.
