BRITISH QX GETS GREEN LIGHT

February 18th, 2020.

The dates, venues and plans for the 2020 ACU British Quadcross championship have now been confirmed, with a six-round series split between the Nora-MX and NETT quad clubs. Cromwell Trucks will be the title sponsor of the British Championship, with Diamond Drilling supporting the British Under-21s and ZIP Products the Rookies. There will also be regional sponsors for the six rounds.

In an endeavour to boost the numbers for the clubs, and to make the racing more interesting for both competitors and spectators, a ZIP National Expert Championship sub-category will be introduced for 2020. This initiative is designed to give this level of rider a class to contest on the second day of their club events and will create a new National Expert Champion. The Experts will race on track at the same time as the British Championship riders.

Competitors in all classes will pay a registration fee upfront, that will be refunded to all riders who contest the full six rounds. The criteria for this is that at least qualifying and timed practice is completed. The registration fee is £70 for British, and £40 for Expert. Entry fees are £70 British, and £65 Expert.
