Entries are already filling fast for rounds three and four of the 2016 BXUK British Beachcross Championship, which form part of this year’s Bournemouth Wheels Festival from June the 3rd through to the 5th.

The series kicked off at Margate in March, attracting riders from the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands and Ireland.

The format on the Friday will see team and best pairs races, which will produce some exciting team riding, providing a new challenge for the competitors as they ride for team points rather than just themselves which is what they are used to.

Saturday and Sunday will be full-blown Championship racing.

Some of Europe’s top sand-racing specialists will make the trip, including reigning BXUK MCF British Quad Beachcross Champion Carl Bunce, former British and European QX champion John Mitchell, 2013 BXUK Champion Jamie Clarke and 2014 Champion Oli Sansom.
