ATV’S ONLY BRITISH QUAD XC CHAMPIONSHIP – RND 1


April 13th, 2018.


After a four-week delay, the revised opening round of the ATV’s Only British Quad XC Championship governed by the MC Federation took place at Coney Green Farm, Stourport, DY13 0TE on Sunday, the 8th of April.


Blue skies and a superb track made for a great day’s racing which saw Luke Davies taking the Overall and Expert + win, Sam Holmes cleaning up in the Experts, Richard Indge achieving a similar feat in the Clubman and Callum Brooks, in his debut race, putting in a superb performance to take his first win in the Sportsman class. Danny Lloyd took the win in the 4x4 Lights, whilst Simon David took the top step in the 4x4 Heavy class.

In the morning Youth race, which ran for one and a half hours, Dylan McKenna won the 250 Hybrid class after a close race, Will Morgan took the honours in the Youth 250 class, and Harry Exley won the Youth 100-125.

The Mini 30-minute quad race, over a shortened course, had a great turn out, with Dayton Thompson winning the 90cc Class and Morgan Humphreys coming home in first place in the 50cc class.
