The fourth round of the MCF ATVs Only British XC Championship, with GML ATV, took place after a week of unusually bad weather threatened to call a halt to proceedings. However, KORC is a superb all-weather venue, and it was all systems go come Sunday.
Cai Evans finished thrid in the Youth 250 classThey track team delivered a course of over 7.5km, which incorporated every type of enduro terrain even the most discerning cross-country quad racer could wish for.
The Youth riders went out first on Sunday morning for their 1.5-hour event in testing conditions. Lewis Humpris took his maiden victory in the 250cc Hybrid class. James Maybury looked odds on to take a third victory in the 250cc class as he was leading by seven minutes. Sadly, a mechanical failure on the last lap dropped him down the order, Ethan Best took the win in his DQR debut from Mckenzie Evans in second and Cai Evans third.
