The seventh round of the 2022 MRA Ulster Youth and Adult Quadcross series will be promoted by the North of Ireland Club at Robinson’s Motocross Park, Claudy, this Saturday, the 9th of July.

The event also forms part of a Double Header where all points scored will count towards both the 2022 Ulster and Irish Championship series.

After six of eight rounds of the Ulster Championship, Dean Dillon leads the Premier Class with 355 points, ahead of Mark McLernon on 347. David Cowan is currently placed in third position with 333 points.

In the Quad Semi-Expert Class, teenager Josh McKnight could well wrap up the championship early as he enjoys a 71 point advantage over Jack Young, with Shane Hunter holding third and 260 points. The Adult Clubman Quad Class sees Dean Young in a strong position at the top of the points table on 343 points. Mitchell Adams is second on 283, with Stephen Kelly moving steadily up into third place position on 269.

As far as the three Ulster Youth Quadcross Championship Classes are concerned, in the Y1 Automatic Class, Jamie Cowan has a commanding 76 point advantage over Jenson Gilchrist with 300, then Kruz Bradly on 266 points. The Y2 80/100cc Youth Class is very tight at the top of the points table, with only five points separating the top three. Rory Farren leads on 342, Daniel Duddy is second on 338, and one further point behind in third is Dean Owens on 337. Finally, the Youth Y3 200/250cc Ulster Quad Class is also very competitive going into the penultimate round, with just nine points separating Jack Minish from Luke Dillon, with Charlie Williamson third.

Racing starts at 11.00am with an 18 race programme.
