SANSOM ON FIRE AT NETT

July 5th, 2022.

Reigning NETT Champion Oli Sansom posted an almost perfect score over the two-day weekend of NETT Club quad racing at Iron Works last weekend.

In the opening moto of Round 5 he finished second behind Murray Graham, but he then went on to win the next five races, proving he was back in the game.

Sansom’s winning way hoisted him back to the front of the championship. Robbie Wood, who had a solid second day at NETT, maintains his second place in the championship, while Murray Graham’s win and a couple of seconds saw him move to third on the leaderboard.

The clearly delighted West Midlander said; “I’ve switched engines and feel so much faster now. It’s a terrific feeling to be back winning at NETT, and I’m hoping for better things at the last two British Championship rounds. A lot can happen in nine motos!”

Results (top 3):
Round 5: 1. Oli Sansom 72, Chad Beevers 56, 3. Andrew Lawton 51
Round 6: 1. Oli Sansom 75, 2. Murray Graham 58, 3. Robbie Wood 58
