NORA-MX GETS BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP STATUS

July 17th, 2020.

The UK’s leading quad club has been sanctioned by the ACU to assign British Championship status to five of its classes.

Thanks to the fact that the club is running an independent seven-round championship, the ACU has agreed that the 100cc Open, 250cc Open, Clubman, Ladies and Masters classes will now be official ACU British Championships.

As a result of this latest development, online entries have been extended until 12 noon today, via the ACU website and late entries can be taken on the day.

Commenting on this recognition for the Nora-MX club, Richard Shaw said; “This is terrific news for the club, competitors and quad racing as a whole. Due to the delay to the season caused by the coronavirus pandemic, there wasn’t going to be a British Championship. We’ve been in lengthy discussions with the ACU and are delighted that they have agreed to elevate these five classes to British Championship status. It’s a great boost for all involved in the sport.”
