NI SUPERSLIDERS

February 19th, 2020.

Justin Reid continued his charge out front at the very wet and windy last round of the Supermoto NI championship to take the championship win on 200 points, ahead of Diane Hillis on 160 and Chris McLaughlin on 156.

Reid didn’t have it all his own way though, as Sammy Wilson recovered from a first race DNF to go second in race two, and then take the win in the final moto. Reid’s hundred per cent success record prior to the last round was enough to secure the title. Twenty-two quads were in the line-up at some point for the Supermoto winter series, but, as ever, consistency was king, with the top six contesting and completing all four rounds.

Overall on the day;
1. Justin Reid, 2. Diane Hillis, 3. Chris McLaughlin, 4. Tommy Muldoon, 5. Sammy Wilson, 6. David Maxwell.

Championship results;
1. Reid 200, 2. Hillis 160, 3. McLaughlin 156, 4. Muldoon 134, 5. Ryan Hughes 114, 6. David Maxwell 111
