NETT ROLLS OUT 2021 QUAD & SIDECAR DATES

December 8th, 2020.

The popular northern-based club NETT has published dates for its 2021 championship, providing racing for junior and youth quads alongside adult quads and sidecars. The family-friendly club will again run a series of double-header weekends, a format that, in the past, has proved to be attractive to riders and teams from across the UK and Ireland.

A new organising team will be running the 2021 events and are already working with the outgoing committee to ensure a seamless handover in the New Year, at which point venues and other event details will be confirmed.

Outgoing chairman Karl Robinson said; “We are all itching to get racing again, and the publication of these dates helps everybody to start planning for next season. As ever, we hope some of our club championship rounds will double as counting for other championships, so dates have to be provisional for now.”

The scheduled 2021 dates are;
24th/25th April
29th/30th or 30th/31st May
26th/27th June
17th/18th July – tentatively British Championships at Dean Moor
4th/5th September – reserve dates in case of postponed rounds or if a 10-round championship is determined as the format for 2021

“There is a lot more positive news to come in the New Year,” continued Karl, “and I’m confident the NETT championship will be in safe and willing hands. I’d like to pay tribute to the team that’s been with me, especially Dot Nixon and Ian Best. Although we’re all stepping down from the front line, we’re not leaving the club and I’m sure everyone, my family included, is looking forward to getting back on track in 2021.”
